Specifications

According to the findings of our group industry and mining affected sites can host surprisingly rich communities of insects, including many endangered species from groups such as butterflies, beetles, dragonflies, aculeta and others. Since mining and industry represent some of the most severe areas of human intervention in nature, reclamation after the completion of these activities should help protect biodiversity as much as possible. Our group provides expert services to interested parties from the mining and energy industry including not only inventories of the biological values of their territory, but also variants of practical instructions on how not to decrease their biological value during rehabilitation and reclamation of the sites.
