PHYSIOTHERAPY CENTRE
Institute of Applied Health and Social Sciences - Practice Workplace
The Physiotherapy Centre is located in the basement of the ZSF building at J. Boreckého 1167/27. It is a registered non-state healthcare facility providing services in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine not only to employees and students of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, but also to the general public. Thanks to the fact that it is a clinical workplace, they can devote more time to the patient here than they usually get in regular rehabilitation clinics. The centre provides services covered by public health insurance as well as services that are not covered by this insurance. The range of standard outpatient care, such as a comprehensive kinesiological examination, individual physiotherapy, manual therapy, ergonomics, kinesiotaping or thermotherapy, is supplemented by devices for physical therapy (laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy) and for movement analysis. The Physiotherapy Centre is open to people with musculoskeletal disorders, people after injuries, surgeries and those interested in preventing the occurrence of these problems.
Opening hours: Mon/Tue/Thu 7:00-15:30, Wed 7:00-16:30, Fri 7:00-14:30.
