Support of PoC activities at the University of South Bohemia

Development of cooperation between the academic and application spheres. To support and significantly streamline the process for the transfer of R&D results using a comprehensive system of commercialization support through the following partial objectives:

a) capturing and finalizing significant technical solutions at the JU workplaces, implementing their industrial legal protection and ensuring the follow-up processes necessary for real application in the commercialization process

b) supporting and increasing the share of R&D results that are usable and applicable in practice (supporting scientific and research activities with the aim of applying the results)

c) increasing and strengthening mutual cooperation between the JU and the commercial sphere through the commercialization process (especially small and medium-sized enterprises) in the region - the South Bohemian Region, at the national level and, last but not least, at the European level, also with regard to some exceptional R&D results recruited in narrow-profile fields

d) significant streamlining and strengthening of the technology transfer process internally at the University of South Bohemia and strengthening of cooperation between scientists and employees of the Technology Transfer Office during the implementation of this project, establishing the principles of intellectual property, commercialization and technology transfer among active scientists in the field of applied research

e) strengthening of the University of South Bohemia as a research organization at the national and international level, through the presentation and promotion of R&D results created on the basis of this project, through networking of the Technology Transfer Office of the University of South Bohemia in networking networks (vice-presidency of Transfera.cz, presidium of L.E.S.I., membership of AIP ČR, ASTP Proton, ITTN, IPI Singapore, EPO PATLIB, EU ROADMAPPING, AUTM, etc.)

f) through the above-mentioned networking, increasing the possibilities and strengthening of cooperation with foreign SMEs and thus increasing awareness of the excellent R&D results of the University of South Bohemia through the Technology Transfer Office and creating closer ties.
