On 3 & 4 February 2026, a free intensive workshop on “Storytelling with XR & Generative AI” will take place at the LIT Open Innovation Center as part of the Interreg project “KreATivita&InovaCZe”, featuring two fantastic speakers.
The workshop is primarily aimed at professionals from the creative industries as well as museums and cultural/science mediators in Upper Austria and South Bohemia. The language of the workshop is English.
Where applicable, travel costs for Czech participants can be covered.
XR/AR/VR and generative AI are currently a hot topic when it comes to innovative mediation and storytelling. As part of the Interreg project "KreATivita&InovaCZe", there comes a free, two-day workshop that introduces stroytelling with Extended Reality (XR) and generative AI - hand-on, inspiring and interdisciplinary.
This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in rethinking narratives and exploring how these media formats can be meaningfully applied in their own context - whether in cultural institution, museums, science communication, film, difgital media or creative projects.
What can you expect?
in this in-depth workshop you wll spend two days exploring new approaches to storytelling with two internationally experienced trainers - from interactive XR experiences to AI-supported narratives:
- understanding and critically refelcting on the possibilities and limitations of XR and generative AI in the context of storytelling
- hands-on excercise
- an introduction to narratives as systems with roles, rules and perspectives
- practical examples and knowledge transfer to creative, cultural and scientific projects
- insights into useful tools and workflows
- plenty of room for exchange with colleagues form different disciplines
The content is specifically designed to be directly applicable to your own projects, exhibitions, research or creative processes - regardless of wheteher your background is in film, design, games, cultural mediation or science coomunication.
